Data Deletion

Your data. Your call. Two ways to delete — pick whichever is faster for you.

Delete from the App

Use the email method below while we ship the in-app flow. We'll notify you in-app when it's live.

Open VELO

Launch the app and make sure you're signed in.

Go to Settings → Account

Tap your profile icon or navigate to the Settings tab.

Tap "Delete my account"

You'll be asked to confirm with your registered email address.

Confirm

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You will be signed out automatically.

Delete by Email

Send a deletion request directly to our privacy team. We'll handle the rest.

We confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 calendar days.

What Gets Deleted

Here is exactly what happens to your data when you request deletion.

Deleted immediately

    Your profile and all data in our database (Firebase Firestore)

    Your authentication record (Firebase Auth) — your Google Sign-In is revoked from VELO

    All data stored locally on your device (when you uninstall the app)

Deleted by Google (time-limited)

    Analytics data in Google Analytics systems — retained up to 14 months per Google's own retention policy. We cannot accelerate this.

    Advertising data managed by Google AdMob — subject to Google's AdMob data policies.

Not in our control

  • info

    In-app purchase and subscription records — managed by Google Play or Apple App Store under their respective policies. Contact them directly for transaction records.

Maximum response time: 30 calendar days

If you believe a child under 13 has used VELO without parental consent, contact us immediately. We will prioritize deletion.
